Liberty Global Zl3 billion acquisition of Multimedia Polska

• Liberty Global has acquired Multimedia Polska for Zl3 billion.
• Multimedia Polska is Poland's third largest cable operator with 832,000 customers and 54,000 mobile subscribers.
• The deal sees the company combined with the Liberty owned UPC Poland creating a group serving 4 million homes and businesses.
• In 2014 Multimedia had considered an IPO but ultimately abandoned the plans.
• Credit Suisse acted as financial adviser to Liberty Global. UBS advised Multimeda.
