  • Steinhoff International has acquired 92.34% of the share capital of Pepkor Holdings, as the furniture maker adds clothing to its retail portfolio. 
  • The acquisition is the third largest M&A deal in South Africa's history.
  • Steinhoff bought a 52% stake from the Titan Group, 37.1% from Brait in Mauritius, and a 2.81% interest from Pepkor management
