Overview:

  • Akita Offshore Wind Corporation, a special purpose company of Marubeni Corporation, will construct, operate and maintain a 140MW wind farm project in Japan in Noshiro and Akita Ports.
  • The project, valued at €831 million, is expected to be completed in 2022 with Tohoku Electric Power Co maintaining the wind farms under a power purchase agreement for a 20 year period.
