Overview:

  • Spanish companies Elecnor and Abengoa have been awarded the contract to electrify the Vilnius railway hub and the Kaisiadorys-Klaipeda railway by Lithuania's state-owned railway company Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai 
  • The project is expected to be complete in 2023.
