VietJet Aviation $2.4 billion acquisition of 20 Airbus jets

Overview:

• VietJet Aviation (VietJet), a Vietnam airline, has reached an agreement with Airbus for the $2.39 billion acquisition of at least 20 A321 passenger jets from Airbus Group (Airbus).
• The delivery of the fleet will begin in 2017 and continue through 2020.
• Airbus is a consortium of French, German, Spanish and British aircraft manufacturers, the company is headquartered in Toulouse, France.
• Airbus was advised by an in-house team.
