Kingspan acquisition of Essmann Group

Overview:

• Irish building materials company, Kingspan Holdings, has acquired German company Essman Group, one of the leading European manufacturers of sustainable lighting and natural ventilation solutions for non-residential buildings, from its financial sponsor Quadriga Capital.
• Essman has two production sites in Germany and one in France. 
• Clifford Chance's Frankfurt and Dusseldorf offices, led by Thomas Krecek, represented Kingspan.
• A team from Latham & Watkins' Frankfurt and Hamburg branches advised Quadriga.
