Overview:

  • Aramark has acquired Avendra and AmeriPride Services for $2.35 billion.
  • The company will acquire Avendra for $1.35 billion from Marriott International and AmeriPride for $1 billion.
  • Both deals will strengthen Aramark's business positions in the United States and Canada. 
  • Financing will be provided through a new debt issue.
  • Aramark has used the financial advice of JP Morgan for the Avendra acquisition and Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley for the AmeriPride deal.
  • Credit Suisse acted for AmeriPride, while Goldman Sachs did so for Avendra.
