Jaderock Investment Singapore $240 million financing

Overview:

• Jaderock Investment Singapore has received $240 million financing from Bank of China and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China for the acquisition of shares in Lestari Listrik.
• Jaderock Investment Singapore is a wholly owned subsidiary of SDIC Power Holdings.
• This investment, along with several other outbound mergers and acquisitions made by SDIC in South East Asia, will assist in easing the pressures the mainland faces in managing its multi trillion foreign exchange reserves, the world's largest, which are heavily weighted in US dollar assets and therefore susceptible to the volatility of the currency.
