Republic of Tajikistan $500 million 7.125% sovereign bond issue

Overview:

• The Republic of Tajikistan has issued its debut $500 million Eurobond.
• The 7.125% notes due 2027 were listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange pursuant to Rule 144A/Reg S.
• The funds raised will be used to finance the $3.9 billion Rogun hydropower plant on the Vakhsh River in the south of the country. The project will be the tallest dam in the world.
• Citigroup and Raiffeisen Bank acted as bookrunners.
