OT Logistics K79.206 million acquisition of 11.75% stake in Luka Rijeka

Overview:

• OT Logistics has acquired a further 11.75% stake in Luka Rijeka from the Croatian privatisation agency via a block trade.
• The deal gives OT a 32.56% overall stake. The company had acquired a 20.81% stake in 2015, according to PortSEurope.
• Luka Rijeka is a Croatian port operator which manages the Port of Rijeka. It is listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
• The Port or Rijeka is located on the Kvarner Gulf in the Adriatic and is the largest port in Croatia. It handles both cargo and passengers.
• OT Logistics is a Warsaw Stock Exchange listed Polish freight company.
• The deal is to be financed via a Zl125 million loan taken out from Polish development bank Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK).
