Overview:

  • State-owned Lietuvos Energija has completed the issue of its debut Reg S €300 million green bond.
  • It was issued under the company's €1 billion EMTN programme.
  • Desire for the bond exceeded initial expectations - where the company had originally planned to issue €200 million - and thanks to the over-subscription it was able to print a €300 million bond from a €1.4 billion book.
  • The issue was given the highest green designation by the Center for International Climate Research.
  • BNP Paribas acted as arranger and dealer with SEB acting as dealer.
