EIB and NIBC Bank guarantee agreement to support loans to mid-sized enterprises

Overview:

• The European Investment Bank (EIB) has reached a guarantee agreement with NIBC Bank to create a €500 million programme to support loans from NIBC to innovative mid-sized enterprises in the Netherlands and Germany.
• The operation is supported by InnovFin - EU Finance for Innovators MidCap Guarantee with the financial backing of the European Union under Horizon 2020 Financial Instruments.
• The EIB is offering a guarantee of up to €250 million as part of the deal.
