On 28 January 2021, the International Biathlon Union (IBU) published the final report of the External Review Commission (ERC). The IBU Executive Board originally appointed the ERC in November 2018 to comprehensively investigate allegations against former IBU President Anders Besseberg and former IBU Secretary General Nicole Resch. Christian Dorda – along with two other lawyers and an athlete – was appointed as Austrian member of the independent investigation commission.
