A new pan-Baltic firm has been launched by the former managing partner of the Latvian arm of the bnt network.

Klauberg Baltics - founded by Theis Klauberg and opened this month - will have offices in Riga, Tallinn, and Vilnius, and will primarily target German-speaking clients from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The firm will have a team of 15 people in its three offices. The Riga office will be managed by Klauberg, the Tallinn office will be led by Max Wood, and the Vilnius Office will be managed by Sigita Sriubaitė.

Klauberg's former firm has changed name to bnt attorneys in CEE / Jensen & Svikis Legal following the promotion of senior associates Karlis Svikis and Henning Jensen to partnership. The two will also be supported by Frank Heemann, the managing partner at bnt Attorneys Vilnius.

This move is the latest in a series of shifts in the Baltics legal market over the past five years that has impacted a number of the leading firms in the region.
