US firm White & Case has strengthened its India practice by adding a new local partner to its global M&A team in Hong Kong.

Pradyumna Mysoor joins the firm from Linklaters where he was a managing associate advising on M&A, private equity and restructuring transactions.

Nandan Nelivigi, head of White & Case’s India practice, said of the hire: "Prady is a valuable addition to the firm, and will play a strategic role as we continue to broaden our platform supporting Indian clients and international clients active in India."

Mysoor joined Linklaters’ London office in 2006 and was relocated to Hong Kong in 2010. He has previously advised clients such as the Royal Bank of Scotland, Carlyle Group and New Zealand investment company Chandler on India-related deals.

Indian and English-qualified Mysoor has over 14 years’ experience and is also a registered foreign lawyer in Hong Kong. He has experience in the Indian legal market and has worked at firms such as Kochhar & Co and J Sagar Associates. Last year he was seconded to British Petroleum in Singapore.

White & Case’s India practice has lawyers based in Singapore, New York and London advising multinational corporations, commercial and investment banks, private equity firms, alternative investment and sovereign funds and government entities on Indian business opportunities.
