Reed Smith has expanded substantially its European offering with the hire of a 50 strong team of lawyers from King & Wood Mallesons (KWM).
The move is made up of 17 partners, three counsel, 22 associates, one jurist, seven trainees and nine support staff.
The full list can be found below but from a financial and corporate perspective the most interesting additions are the financial services regulatory team in London led by David Calligan and the five additions to the corporate and private equity team in the forms of Delphine Currie, Mark Sanders and Laura Brunnen in London and Guilain Hippolyte and Pierre-Louis Périn in Paris.
The hires will add 10% to Reed Smith's European headcount and come in the context of KWM's European arm filing for administration last week.
