Dentons has confirmed the appointment of a partner from Clifford Chance in Madrid.
Joining the firm as head of finance, Jabier Badiola has over 15 years of experience in cross-border syndicated financing, specifically in asset finance, project finance, structured finance, corporate finance and debt restructuring. Luis Belart also joins the department as senior associate.
The move follows the appointment of former head of banking at Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira, Jesús Mardomingo, in April, and shows the firm's continued commitment to the banking sector in Spain.
Badiola previously worked at Ramón & Cajal and Gómez-Acebo & Pombo before moving to Clifford Chance.
