The Spanish arm of global firm Allen & Overy has completed the appointment of a new partner to its corporate team.
IFLR1000 Leading Lawyer Fernando Torrente joins the firm from the business law team at Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira, which he headed up. Torrente previously worked at Allen & Overy in the same position between 2002-2005.
Torrente is highly regarded in the Spanish market for his M&A and capital markets work, including takeovers, IPOs, securities and secondary offerings. Recent highlights include assisting in the sale of Torre Espacio by Torre Espacio Castellana to the Emperador group.
