  • Advising Ciech S.A., and its local subsidiary Ciech Soda Romania S.A. (one of the largest firms in the chemical sector in Europe), on matters of Romanian law pertaining to a PLN 1.59 billion (approximately EUR 373 million) bank credit facility financing for Ciech S.A. to refinance its existing debt, consisting of high yield bonds (with a value of EUR 245 million) and revolving credit facilities and financing of working capital needs;
  • Advising Premier Capital Plc in the EUR 66 million acquisition of McDonald's local operations, transaction which included all 67 McDonald's restaurants in Romania;
  • Advising the European Investment Fund in a multimillion funding agreement with the Government of Romania, acting through the Ministry of European Funds. The funding agreement is meant to support the Romanian State in funding small and medium enterprises;
  • Advising Alcatel-Lucent S.A. (global telecommunications equipment company, listed on Euronext Paris and New York Stock Exchange), in connection with various capital markets regulatory issues;
  • Advising Barclays on provisions of nominee and vested account services to employees of Romanian companies, both pre-vesting, and post-vesting of shares issued;
  • Advising the US Association Of Global Custodians on custody services in securities with Romanian custodians, related insolvency matters.
