Ms. Elaine Li is a partner of Haiwen & Partners LLP based in Hong Kong. Ms. Elaine Li’s practice focuses on offshore funds formation and private equity investments. 

Ms. Li represents fund sponsors in forming various funds, including USD-denominated blind-pool funds, project funds, and USD and RMB denominated parallel funds. She also advises fund sponsors on their internal arrangements, operational compliance and downstream investments. She also represents different investors in connection with their investments in private equity funds.

Ms. Li’s recent experience includes acting for leading fund sponsors such as Alibaba, Ant, Bits x Bites, Challenjers Capital, ewpartners, Elite Capital, Harvest Fund, Hillhouse Capital, Hua Capital, Redefine Capital, Shixiang Capital, ShoreVest Capital and Temasek. Her other PRC-based clients include BOCGI, CCB Trust, CICC, Dongxing Securities, Surrich Internal Company Limite, ZGC International, certain other PRC banks and high-net-worth individuals.
