Kevin Omar Sidharta

Kevin Sidharta has worked with ABNR since 2000. He has dealt with numerous transactions involving corporate restructurings, merger & acquisitions, and debt/project financings. He has also been involved in most of the court-supervised restructurings that ABNR has been involved in, whether as lead counsel or a member of the ABNR team. In addition, he has testified as an expert on Indonesian law in a number of foreign legal proceedings.

He is listed as a “Next Generation Partner” for restructuring & insolvency by Legal 500 Asia Pacific, and is recommended for real estate and IT & Telecoms. He is also listed as a “Name to Know in Indonesia” for restructuring & insolvency by Global Restructuring Review (GRR).

• Advising ING Bank NV Singapore Branch in the court-supervised restructuring (PKPU) of PT. Delta Merlin Dunia Textile; PT Delta Dunia Tekstil; PT Delta Merlin Sandang Tekstil; PT Delta Dunia Sandang Tekstil; PT Dunia Setia Sandang Asli Tekstil; PT Perusahaan Dagang Dan Perindustrian Damai;
• Advising the objecting noteholders in the Chapter 15 Petition for Recognition of a Foreign Proceeding legal proceedings initiated by PT Bakrie Telekom Tbk in the United States Bankruptcy Court Southern District of New York; Providing expert declaration and expert testimony concerning the court-supervised restructuring (PKPU)  of PT Bakrie Telekom Tbk;
• Advising Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) in the out-of-court restructuring of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk;
• Advising the liquidator of Otto Marine Limited (in liquidation) in the sale of the shares in PT Batamec which underwent court-supervised restructuring (PKPU) process and PT Lestari Utama Nusantara;
