Joel Cartee is a partner in the Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions practices at Kilpatrick. Joel’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, private equity, venture capital, and commercial transactions with particular emphasis on providing strategic advice to Fortune 500 companies in connection with complex, high-profile transactions. For more than 20 years, public and private companies have relied on Joel’s practical guidance with business combinations. Clients appreciate his deep understanding of their business and the deal issues that are most important to them. During his career, Joel has handled hundreds of mergers and acquisitions transactions with an aggregate deal value in the tens of billions of dollars.
Joel serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia in connection with his representation of the Office of the State Treasurer of Georgia.
