Hugo Ribeiro Couto

Hugo Couto joined the firm in early 2000 and completed the course for Private Notaries in Macau in 2002. Hugo, who advises on all areas of the law, has focused his practice in litigation, being involved in several disputes concerning civil, corporate, real estate, insurance and administrative matters.

• Advised Melco Resorts Finance Limited (and other Group Companies) with respect to Macau Law, in the issuance of USD 900,000,000.00 senior notes
• Assisted Citibank, N.A., (Hong Kong) Branch in the HKD 223,400,000.00 financing deal involving Sundart Engineering Services (Macau Limited).
• Assisted a Hong Kong bank in a financing of Jewellery manufacturing company and a trading company. (HKD 162,609,000.00)
