He has more than 13 years of experience in corporate law, banking and finance and mergers and acquisitions. He has vast experience leading local and multi-jurisdiction matters. He has led some of the most relevant financing projects, mergers and acquisitions, competition and corporate matters in the region, including the recent acquisition of Scotiabank by Banco Cuscatlán.

• Advised Credit Suisse in the structuring and execution of a DPR program to Imperia Continental INC for the acquisition of the shares of Citibank in El Salvador for US$100 million.
• Advised Banco Cuscatlán in the acquisition of Scotiabank in El Salvador.
• Advised Digicel Group in its $1.6 billion debt restructuring.
• Advised American Insurance Group (AIG) in El Salvador in the acquisition of their operations by the Panamanian insurance company ASSA by the amount of $85 million.
• Advised Banco Agromercantil and Banco G&T Continental in a credit facility of US$85 million granted to Ventus for the first wind farm project in El Salvador.
