At 10:30 am Athens time this morning, Athens International Airport S.A. (AIA) made its debut on the Main Market of the Regulated Securities Market of the Athens Exchange. The IPO, the first in Europe for 2024 and the first combined offering in Greece for more than two decades, involved the offering of 90 million AIA shares to retail and institutional investors in Greece and to institutional investors outside Greece.

Dimitrios Mpakos, Ioannis Kaimenakis and Alexandros Exarchou, acquired on 28 April 2023 a 4.91% minority stake in Attica Bank, a medium size Greek bank that has been struggling to raise regulatory capital for more than a year, by subscribing for rump shares in Attica Bank’s €473.3 mln share capital increase.
