David Wang

Mr. Wang is one of the earliest lawyers in Shanghai who has engaged in foreign-related legal practice for more than 30 years in providing international legal services and is skilled in representing multinational companies in various areas including foreign direct investment, corporate, commercial transactions, M&A, joint venture, financing, reorganization, business trust, dispute resolution, and etc.

• Represented the consortium comprising HOPU, Hillhouse Capital, SMG, BOCGI and Vanke on its USD 11.6 Billion acquisition of all the issued and paid-up ordinary shares of Global Logistic Properties Limited. It is so far the largest private equity buy-out deal in Asia and the largest cross-border transaction completed by Chinese entities in 2017
• Represented Purolite Corporation on its restructuring and sale of its resin business with an approximate value of USD3.7 billion, and provided full-spectrum PRC legal services including due diligence, restructuring advice and preparation of transactional documents
• Represented Intel Holdings on its worldwide corporate restructuring in the amount of approximately USD3.5 billion, and provided full-spectrum PRC legal services including restructuring advice and preparation of transactional documents
• Represented Visteon on its acquisition of the automotive electronics business of Johnson Controls with an approximate value of USD 265 million, and provided full-spectrum PRC legal services including due diligence and preparation of transactional documents
• Represented International Paper on its restructuring of 8 PRC entities at different locations in China and divestments of its business departments with the value over USD 111 million, and provided full-spectrum PRC legal services including restructuring advice and implementation and preparation of transactional documents
