Charles-Emmanuel Prieur is one of the Managing Partners of UGGC Avocats, and co-heads the Private Equity department.

He advises industrial and commercial operators for their take over transactions and asset purchase operations. He acts on behalf of investment funds or managers in the context of venture capital, private equity or LBO transactions.

Charles-Emmanuel also advises his clients on internal corporate law structuring (regulatory, governance, management packages) and defends them in litigation or arbitration related to equity and financing transactions. He has been particularly involved in certain sectors of activity: new technologies, life sciences (health and biotechnology), defense activities, real estate and financial services.
Charles-Emmanuel assists investment funds or company officers with their venture and growth capital, leverage buy out operations and fund structuring.

He also advises clients on corporate law matters (regulatory, governance, management package) in the context of internal organization, and defends them when they are involved in litigations or arbitrations in relation to equity capital operations and financings.
