Bader is the senior partner of Meysan Partners, the head of the corporate practice, and one of the founders of the firm.
One of the most respected names in Middle Eastern legal practice, Bader has led some of the most sophisticated, high-value, and cross-border transactions in the region, and is one of the most sought-after lawyers when a company wants to pull off a particularly complex transaction.

Over recent years Bader has been especially active recently in cross-border mergers and acquisitions in sectors ranging from logistics to telecommunications.

Major city-scale projects are also part of his recent work.

Bader has been active in regional M&A for over 20 years, and brings valuable commercial insights to private practice, having formerly been general counsel at the top private equity firm, Carlyle, and as general counsel at leading logistics company, Agility.

Prior to founding Meysan Partners he practiced for five years in New York and Abu Dhabi with Shearman & Sterling.
He has served on the boards of a number of entities, including: the Kuwait Investment Authority (Kuwait's sovereign wealth fund), Boursa Kuwait (Kuwait's Stock Exchange), and Gulf Bank.

  • Advised Agility Public Warehousing Company’s 4.1 billion sale of its global logistics business to Panalpina, a Danish company.
  • Advised Kalaam Telecommunications in connection on the purchase of Zajil Telecommunication in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Bahrain, one of the largest cross-border acquisition deals in the telecoms sector in 2021.
  • Advised Agility in connection with the Tristar Transport IPO on the Dubai Financial Market. Tristar is a UAE-headquartered subsidiary of Agility, a publicly traded global company headquartered in Kuwait, and a leading provider of supply chain services, where the latter holds 65 percent of Tristar’s total capital.
  • Acted as sole legal adviser to National Real Estate Company Co on the sale of its entire participation in its Erbil-based (Iraqi Kurdistan) subsidiary, KREDCO Real Estate Company.
