VINT & Aletheia, Attorneys and Consultants is a boutique corporate and commercial law firm in Ghana, originally established in 2017 as Veritas International Nominees and Trustees Ltd. Initially focused on trustee services, corporate restructuring, and regulatory compliance, the firm expanded in 2024 to provide full legal services. With expertise in mergers and acquisitions, finance, real estate, energy, and dispute resolution, the firm is committed to professionalism, integrity, and innovation. VINT & Aletheia fosters a collaborative work culture, emphasizing continuous development, transparency, and excellence, ensuring effective legal solutions and strategic advisory services for its clients.
With a transaction value exceeding $150 million, we were engaged to undertake a high-level legal due diligence exercise in connection with the land acquisition for Ghana’s national oil company’s flagship Energy Base Project.
As part of Ghana’s national Agenda 111 initiative—which aims to ensure that each of the 88 districts in Ghana has a modern hospital—we conducted an extensive due diligence review on over 111 construction companies and contractors that were shortlisted for the project. This transaction, valued at over $100 million, involved reviewing the legal, corporate, and regulatory standing of the entities to support the client’s contractor selection process.
We were engaged to provide comprehensive transaction advisory services, including legal and regulatory support, for a small-scale (incubator) mining project between our client and the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) of Ghana. The project, valued at approximately $5.3 million, involved advising on local content requirements, regulatory approvals, structuring, and drafting the relevant agreements to support implementation.
