Russian firm Pepliaev Group has announced the launch of a South Korean desk to assist Korean investors in Russia and Russian businesses operating in Korea.
The head of the desk is the experienced Cheong Noh-Chung who specialises in both Russian and Korean law. He was the first foreigner to be admitted to the Moscow City Bar in 2006.
The move is the latest for Pepeliaev Group which focuses on the increasingly-important business activity to the east of Russia. In April the firm announced a strategic alliance with Russin & Vecchi to focus on providing legal services to clients working in Primorsky Krai and the wider Russian Far East
