Hogan Lovells has recruited a new partner for its global infrastructure, energy, resources and projects group in Moscow.

Alexander Dolgov joins the team from Gide Loyrette Nouel where he has been since 2010. He is recognised as one of the leading names in Russia for PPP (public-private partnership) work and thus represents a significant hire for the firm in this increasingly important sector.

Dolgov cited Hogan Lovells’s global network, impressive client base and future ambition as the key reasons for his decision and said he was delighted to be joining the firm.

Hogan Lovells Moscow managing partner Oxana Balayan also described how pleased she was Dolgov had decided to sign up to the team.

“Alexander's arrival cements our continued expansion into strategically important areas in Russia,” she said. “I am confident his expertise in PPP and projects, combined with the 20 years of our professional experience in Russia and a strong team on the ground, will impress both our clients and the market.”
