Playmaker Capital Inc., a digital sports media company that delivers unique content experiences through its portfolio of sports media and technology brands, announced that it has acquired 100% of the digital assets of Soccerly, S.A.P.I. de C.V., including JuanFutbol.

The Mexican group brings its broad portfolio of highly popular social media profiles and digital channels, as well as leading sports-focused web properties, which will accelerate Playmaker's growth in key Spanish-speaking markets in Mexico and the United States.

JuanFutbol delivers its authentic digital soccer content to more than six million social media followers across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube. In addition to JuanFutbol, the acquisition also includes JuanBeisbol, a baseball-oriented brand, and FridaPop, a property focused on women's sports.

Iván Pérez Correa, who led the transaction in advising Soccerly, as seller, said:” it was an honor to be part of such an important transaction within the sports tech market and social media sector”.
