How we select the best
For this guide, we approached business practitioners, clients and industry experts across the world. We invited them to nominate individuals to be recognised as leading professionals in banking, capital markets, corporate governance, investment funds, Islamic finance, M&A, project finance, private equity, restructuring and insolvency and structured finance and securitisation fields. We asked for reasoning for all nominations and sought additional background information as to why an individual should be included in the list. This included expertise, technical knowledge, reputation, innovation and contribution to the banking, finance and transactional practice development.
For this edition, we have surveyed almost 10,000 practitioners and recognised +5,000 leaders who appear in the final guide.
