Widyantoro Kurnia is a Founding Partner and the Head of the Corporate (Non-Litigation) Division at FKNK Law Firm. He earned his bachelor's degree in business law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Indonesia in 2006. Before his time at FKNK Law Firm, from 2006 to 2007, Widyantoro worked at one of Indonesia’s leading law firms. In 2007, he gained experience as an in-house lawyer at a premier Indonesian holding company. Between 2007 and 2012, he was part of a renowned Malaysian law firm, eventually leading their Indonesian representative office in Jakarta after initially working in Kuala Lumpur.

His practice areas encompass general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, both foreign and domestic investment, energy and natural resources, forestry and plantation, education, and manpower. With over 15 years of experience in the legal field, Widyantoro has been involved in various projects, including technology startups, foundations, foreign and multinational companies, and government institutions. 1. PT Boma Bisma Indra (Persero)

  • Assisting and representing PT Boma Bisma Indra (Persero) in negotiating and conducting the termination process for 119 (one hundred nineteen) employees. As a result, the termination of employment was resolved through the signing of a Joint Agreement by 100% (one hundred percent) of all terminated employees who agreed to the compensation provided by the Company in relation to the termination of employment. The amount of severance pay was not regulated in the Collective Employment Agreement between the company and the employees, and the precedent of termination of employment that had been experienced in 2015 before the enactment of the Job Creation Law required repeated negotiations until an agreement was reached. The matter value is Rp55,000,000,000.- (fifty-five billion rupiah).

2. PT Vale Indonesia Tbk

  • Conducting legal due diligence upon land owned by PT Graha Sumber Mining Indonesia located in Onepute Jaya Village and Bahomotefe Village, Sub-District of East Timur, Morowali Regency, Province of Central Sulawesi, covering an area of 262 Ha (two hundred and sixty-two hectare) with a value of Rp148,348,000,000.- (one hundred forty eight billion three hundred forty eight million rupiah) and assisting PT Vale in the transfer of assets from PT Graha Sumber Mining Indonesia to PT Vale.

3. Water Resources Agency of Jakarta (Dinas Sumber Daya Air Provinsi DKI Jakarta)

  • Reviewing all cooperation agreements between Water Resources Agency of Jakarta and any private companies, including but not limited to the construction project of the pump system, construction of Belibis reservoir, construction of Marunda reservoir, construction of Kamal reservoir, and etc. with a value of around Rp469,132,869,881.- (four hundred sixty nine billion one hundred thirty two million eight hundred sixty nine thousand eight hundred eighty one rupiah).
