Akio Kawamura is a Senior Partner at Atsumi & Sakai; he joined the firm from Nishimura & Asahi in September 2019 prior to which he worked at Salomon Brothers Asia Limited (Currently Citigroup Capital Markets Japan Inc.) from 1987-2004. He has a law degree from Kyoto University and an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
