Research period review: 33rd edition (2022/2023)  

During the research period, the firm was active in banking, capital markets, investment funds, private equity, projects and restructuring and insolvency 

The banking team advised syndicated banks and other lenders in cross-border corporate and acquisition financing deals across various industries  

In capital markets, the firm was active on the debt side, advising issuers on unique sustainability linked bond issuances and other agribusiness related securitizations.  

The investment fund team advised on innovative FIAGRO in the agribusiness sector as well as other quota issuances in the real estate & infrastructure sectors. 

The firm’s private equity work involved several international clients and highly impactful investments in the fintech and financial services industries. 

Projects wise the firm provided regulatory advice on complex matters such as project privatizations primarily in the energy sector. On the finance side, the firm worked on complex offerings and issuances in the transport and energy sectors.  

The restructuring and insolvency team advised creditors and debtors on several judicial reorganizations and debt restructuring proceedings. 

In March of 2022, the firm’s project finance department gained Caio Loureiro as a partner coming from Cascione Pulino. In August of 2022, the firm recruited Pedro Eroles from Mattos Filho to join the banking and finance, capital markets and investment funds team. Also in 2022, Francisco Eumene Machado de Oliveira Neto departed from the firm’s private equity practice.
