Research period review: 33rd edition (2022/2023)   

The banking team was actively advising on financial services regulatory matters during the research period.

The capital markets team was particularly active on equity mandates, and it was kept busy with IPOs. 

The corporate team was very active in acquisitions for both the buy and sell sides. The firm covered clients from different sectors including technology, media and entertainment, e-commerce, infrastructure and shipping.

In projects, the team was involved in various sectors such as energy, infrastructure, hospitality and real estate.

In restructuring and insolvency, the firm mainly acted for creditors.

In staff changes, Abhyuday Bhotika from the capital markets team was promoted to partner. 
The firm also promoted Nikita Goyal, Ankita Gupta, Aakash Dasgupta and Ashwin Krishnan from private equity team to partners. The firm hired partner Amrit Mehta from Majmudar & Partners, while partner Anubha Sital departed the firm.

The firm also recruited partner Maneesha Kongovi and Sourasubha Ghosh into the restructuring and insolvency team while partner Lomesh Kiran Nidumuri departed the firm.
