In banking and finance the firm’s main flow of work is through acquisition financings, syndicated loans and re-financings, where it often takes on borrow-side mandates.

Within the capital markets area the firm represents both issuers and underwriters on a mix of IPOs, bond and note issues, issuances of complex preference shares and other forms of capital raisings. 

The M&A team acts on high-cap acquisitions, mergers and joint ventures across a range of sectors including technology and entertainment, financial services and renewable energy, as well as increasingly gaming and e-sports.

Working in tandem with the banking practice, the firm’s restructuring and insolvency practitioners regularly work on high-end and complex moratorium and refinancing negotiations, clawback issues, enforcing security and distressed sales and directors’/ auditors’ liability.

During the research period the firm was active in all areas of corporate law.

In banking and finance it advised mostly borrowers on direct finance, including various types of credit facilities. It also notably advised clients from sectors such as retail, real estate, food and beverages and energy.

In capital markets the firm has advised the issuer on bond issues, as well as share issues and IPOs.

In terms of M&A work it advised companies from several industries, including energy, technology and telecommunications as well as food and beverages.
