Vienna Insurance Group acquisition of BTA Baltic Insurance Company

Overview:

• The Vienna Insurance Group completed the acquisition of the BTA Insurance Company's operations in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, which had been spun-off from the parent group five months earlier in July 2015 into the BTA Baltic Insurance Company.
• Following the sale, the parent company continues to offer non-life insurance services in Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Italy and the United Kingdom.
