Technicolor €550 million acqusition of Connected Devices from Cisco

Overview:

• French digital innovation company Technicolor has entered into an agreement with Cisco to buy its Connected Devices business for €550 million. 
• The acquisition comprises €413 million in cash and approximately €137 million in new Technicolor shares. 
• Technicolor and Cisco will also enter into a partnership that will allow both companies to develop next generation video and broadband technologies, as well as on the "Internet of Things".
