Overview:

  • The State of Qatar has issued a $12 billion sovereign bond.
  • The issue comprises three tranches of bonds: $2 billion of five-year bonds, $4 billion of 10-year bonds and $6 billion of 30-year bonds.
  • All tranches are being listed on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. The 30-year tranche will also be listed on the Taipei Exchange to meet the requirements of certain investors in Asia.
