Overview:

  • The Republic of Chile has issued €861 million .83% sovereign green bond due 2031.
  • Following the country's $1.41 billion 3.5% sovereign green bond issue, this is the second sovereign green bond issue in Latin America and the first euro-denominated sovereign green bond issue in the region. 
  • Crédit Agricole, J.P. Morgan and Société Générale acted as underwriters.
