Central Real Estate Basel acquisition of Klybeck site

Overview:

• Real estate investment company Central Real Estate has acquired an area in the Basel Klybeck Quarter from Novartis Pharma.
• The acquisition includes the former factory site of Novartis, more than 40 buildings, and six adjoining plots.
• Central Real Estate Basel will also take over Novartis's role on the development of Klybeck area alongside BASF and Canton Basel-Stadt as part of the klybeckplus project agreed in 2016.
