Grupo Financiero Banorte $1.4 billion acquisition of Grupo Financiero Interacciones

Overview:

• Grupo Financiero Banorte has agreed to acquired Grupo Financiero Interacciones, in a transaction that would create the second biggest bank in Mexico. 
• Banorte will acquire Interacciones for $1.4 billion. 
• Half of the transaction will be paid for by cash and the other half will be paid for by stock.
• Bank of America and Moran Stanley acted as financial advisers to Banorte.
