The IBU Executive Board originally appointed the ERC in November 2018 to comprehensively investigate allegations against former IBU President Anders Besseberg and former IBU Secretary General Nicole Resch. Christian Dorda – along with two other lawyers and an athlete – was appointed as Austrian member of the independent investigation commission.
