Sławomir Jakszuk, partner, legal counsel, before he joined the Firm, he spent more than ten years heading, as a Vice-Director, the Legal Department of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. He specializes in economic law, with particular emphasis on company law, securities law and capital market. He heads a team dealing with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, handling financial transactions including public offerings of financial instruments and advising financial market institutions.

In his practice he mainly deals with M&A transactions and their financing, operation of investment companies, establishment of brokerage houses and investment funds, solving current problems of these institutions and representing them in proceedings before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. He advises issuers of securities on problems related to the performance of their statutory duties and preparation of prospectuses. He has handled many acquisitions and disposals of shares in public and private companies and conducted legal due diligence of these companies. The entities he advises include: PKN Orlen S.A.,  Energa S.A., Grupa Azoty S.A., PERN S.A., PGZ S.A., Grupa Kęty S.A., Lotos S.A., Stalexport Autostrady S.A., Elektrim S.A. He also advises on financial transactions such as bond issues, both on the part of issuers and bondholders and on credit agreements.
