Advising Savannah Energy Plc a UK oil and gas company listed on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange (the “Acquirer”) in connection with the $600,000,000 acquisition of the oil and gas assets (and shares in subsidiaries) of an international oil and gas conglomerate (the “Seller”) in Nigeria. Also advised the Acquirer in connection the acquisition of a majority stake in a Nigerian oil and gas company (an indirect subsidiary of the Seller) engaged in upstream oil and gas exploration, appraisal, development and production operations in Nigeria.
Also advised the Acquirer in connection with several arrangements relating to the restructuring of the debt obligations of the Seller and its subsidiaries.
