Research period review: 33rd edition (2022/2023)

During the research period the firm was active in banking, capital markets, investment funds, M&A, project finance and restructuring.

In banking the firm advised borrowers and lenders on syndicated loan agreements and credit facilities in the financial services and project infrastructure industries.

The capital markets team represented underwriters and issuers in diverse securities on the debt and equity side. It was active in toll road securities, FIBRAs, CKDs and other offerings.

Investment funds work consisted of transactions mainly in the fintech industry, but also included some manufacturing designated funds.

The M&A practice participated in acquisitions in the fintech, real estate, telecom and manufacturing industries. It advised acquirers, sellers and investors.

The project team was active in financing, advising clients on project acquisitions and investments.

In restructuring and insolvency, the firm advised more creditors than debtors in financial restructurings and commercial insolvency proceedings.

After eight years, the firm’s banking and finance partner Pilar Mata retired from the firm.
