During the research period Bowmans was active in financial and corporate work. 

The firm advised acquirers, lenders and issuers in mergers, investments, acquisitions and bond issuances. Many of the firm’s clients were financial institutions. 

In September of 2021, partner Asha-Sabrina Ayub departed from the firm for undisclosed reasons.
