Overview:
- Vattenfall has issued hybrid bonds valued at SKr6 billion and €1 billion.
- The proceeds would be used to refinance an existing hybrid bond of €1 billion which was issued in 2005, and for general corporate purposes.
- The deal is the first ever corporate issue of hybrid bonds in Swedish kronor.
- Barclays and BNP Paribas acted as joint structuring advisers and joint bookrunners, while Citi, Danske Bank, ING and SEB acted as joint bookrunners.
- Vattenfall is a Swedish owned energy company with operations in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, UK and Finland.
